This breath-taking Ceylon Cornflower Blue 2.75 carat unheated sapphire crowns a luxurious yet timeless birthstone ring for Z. The micropavé layout comprises 148 diamonds, totalling 2.17 carats, set on 18K white gold.

An eternity ring featuring 12 rare
Sillimanite gems, arguably the only one in the world.
12 is a special number that can represent all the signs of the Western or Eastern zodiac in totality, or the hours in our daily lives. It is the inspiration for the name of this unique design, a bejewelled microcosm capturing the complete cycle of life.
Eternity rings are mini-marvels of engineering, as it takes precision planning to find perfectly sized stones to fit the design.
Our patience paid off, as D was overjoyed with the end result and excited to test out the anti-ageing properties of Sillimanite!

Breakfast at Kilimanjaro
D fulfilled his high-school dream to visit Tanzania, a country blessed with beautiful scenery, the warmest people and of course the rarest gems like Tanzanites, Tsavorites and Spinels. Experiencing free-roaming animals in the wild is one of the most unforgettable memories in his life and he bought a stunning 2.87 carat Tanzanite to remind him of this life-changing trip.

Black Beauty (I)
It's always exciting to explore new grounds and N was so open-minded when he decided to have two pieces of fine jewellery custom-made for himself.
What started as a casual conversation about how gems can be affordable too, gave rise to this asymmetrical statement ring which features a stunning 1.62 carat vivid blue Sapphire and arresting channel set black melee diamonds.
He literally lit up with joy when trying on this unique ring which vibed perfectly with his classy yet edgy energy.

Magmatic Love
Y commissioned this surprise Valentine's Day gift for her husband L, who has long been eyeing a solitaire ring in a retail store but never bought it, as they did not carry his size and could not help him with customisation.
When we proposed this original design featuring a bezel with L & Y, and a bypass ring shank that symbolises their intertwined love, she was immediately smitten with it. A rhodolite garnet was chosen as the crowning glory, a befitting red stone for Valentine's Day that also adds more fire to their birth charts.
The surprise was a great success as L loved the unique ring...nothing bestows greater fulfilment than witnessing how our jewellery brings joyfulness to others.
When we proposed this original design featuring a bezel with L & Y, and a bypass ring shank that symbolises their intertwined love, she was immediately smitten with it. A rhodolite garnet was chosen as the crowning glory, a befitting red stone for Valentine's Day that also adds more fire to their birth charts.

A 1.52 carat Black Diamond earstud to match N's assymetrical blue sapphire and black diamond ring, personalised with his initials.
For those born in April, Black Diamonds are a wonderful option as a birthstone as they are more mysterious and unconventional, yet less expensive.

The Third Eye
Do you own a piece of jewellery that makes you wonder why you bought it years ago? D picked up a 6-ray black star sapphire silver ring in Bangkok almost 20 years ago on one of those forced packaged tours to a souvenir shop. Even though he doesn't wear the ring much anymore, it has great sentimental value as it reminds him of his first trip to Asia.
Thus, he approached us to help him reset the stone in a more updated and wearable style. The final design that he chose showcases the striking cabochon in an open setting with very sleek prongs, juxtaposed with square cut white sapphires to elevate the modern luxury feel of the ring. The steps motif on the ring band conveys a deeper meaning of our constant search for higher ground in life as well, an idea perfectly matching the mysticism of a black star sapphire.
Truly, I am grateful for the chance to breathe new life into this beautiful stone so that D can appreciate it even more on a daily basis. Beyond being a hip concept, repurposing teaches us the important value of gratitude for the things we already have and tapping their full potential.

Everyone associates the holy trinity of gems with rubies, emeralds and sapphires. But when we add to this combination a daughter's love for her mother, the value of these precious stones become absolutely priceless.
My dearest friend L's mother was heartbroken when she unluckily lost her favourite ring while washing her hands. To relieve her pain, L decided to surprise Auntie by remaking a similar version of it for her. She bought some gems at a jewellery fair and sought my help with this project driven by love.
After proposing other design ideas, Auntie still could not forget the ring she lost because it's been with her for so many years. Thus, we honoured her memory and wishes by creating an updated version of it with the trio of gems on a vintage-style band composed of both 18K yellow gold and rose gold, truly a creation fit for a Queen.
May Auntie enjoy her new ring for many years to come...with this on her finger, her daughter is now even closer to her heart every single moment.

Our wanderlust leads us to some amazing places where we eventually leave our hearts behind, but most times, we inevitably bring back a tangible piece of that treasured memory with us.
P went to Tanzania and fell in love with this magical country that happens to be the only producer of the mesmerising gem Tanzanite. After discovering its rarity, she bought a breath-taking 2.05 carats intense violetish blue stone, despite not knowing anything about gems. She entrusted us to set this beauty into a luxurious cluster ring that will always remind her of that once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Although cluster rings are commonly seen, to create the perfect layout with matching coloured stones is actually a painstaking process. We incorporated her favourite colour green, as well as her lucky colour red, into a bypass ring design. The Tanzanite takes centrestage amongst an array of 5 different colours which symbolise the Big 5 animals seen on East African safaris.
As a professional pianist, this "Concerto No. 1" creation encapsulates P's work and life so well...her musical talent adds colour to the world, in the same way that we hope this ring will now add colour and joy to her life!

Wu Wei 无为
B wanted to make a piece of jewellery to remind him of his god-father who often wears a jade ring, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to rock this precious stone. Like many others, he perceived jade as being something worn only by older folks. We swiftly reassured him that jade jewellery can look modern too and we started with the hunt for a suitable piece of Jadeite.
As in the case with all gemstones, finding the exact piece you like involves a certain element of fate. Thankfully, we soon found a piece of half-cylindrical cut 3.41 carats Jadeite in a beautiful shade of Imperial Green, certainly a far cry from the usual low quality cabochons commonly seen.
The interesting shape of the stone inspired many ideas, but we eventually chose an understated design with good flow. By keeping the Jadeite open and exposed on the 2 longer sides, not only do we showcase more of the magnificent colour, we also allow the entire creation to breathe. The 2 cut-through Ruyi symbols on the sides further enhance the flow.
Going with the flow, instead of resisting what the Universe wants us to experience, is a fundamental teaching of Daoism called Wu Wei (无为). Taking action is something so ingrained in our behaviour, that the concept of doing nothing seems so strange and counterintuitive for most of us. But if we let go and relax, things do miraculously go our way when everything falls into alignment, as underscored by the Ruyis (如意).
"Wu Wei" is the perfect embodiment of B's chill yet introspective personality and it's a testament that jade jewellery are not just for old people!

Every decade of our lives is a milestone deserving commemoration. To celebrate his wife's 40th, E wanted to gift her a ring which comprises the birthstones of their lovely family of 4. We are honoured and thankful that he trusted us with this labour of love.
Combining 4 types of birthstones is no easy task, as it requires mixing and matching not just gemstone shapes, but also colours, to achieve a harmonious design. After deciding on a unique rectangular 1.08 carats teal spinel as the main stone for his wife, we eventually picked a round rhodolite garnet to represent E, a square sunny orange tourmaline for their elder son and a sweet yellow sapphire for their younger daughter. To balance the layout, we added other matching coloured stones and diamonds to complete the canvas.

This image came vividly to mind when designing this ring...40 represents a flowering of womanhood as E's wife reemerges from her shell into a new and exciting lifestage. Thus, the split ring band detail is like an open shell, with the array of gems bubbling to the top and the spinel (ie. the wife) holding the family together with her inner strength and grace. Befittingly, the letter V seen from the side also happens to be the initial of her name.

M wanted to commission a 20th wedding anniversary ring for his wife and we are honoured that he trusted us with this extra special present.
His beloved other half has unique taste and swiftly picked a gorgeous grey spinel for her ring. It takes a lot of sass to rock grey stones and thus "Sassitude" was born.
As she preferred to keep the ring simple for daily wear, we set the stone with a one-of-a-kind "W" bezel which is the initial of her name, and adorned the 18K yellow gold band with a diamond grid to reflect her orderly approach towards life.
We are absolutely delighted that this creation was exactly as she envisioned it to be when M finally surprised her with it.

E wanted to make a January birthstone ring and we were elated that he set his eyes on this fiery stone which radiates a powerful aura. An octagonal cut gem not only brings luck with the number 8, the mandala-like shape also confers protection, harmony and wisdom.
To let the stone take centrestage, we envisioned a sleek, modern and timeless design, where the partially open bezel setting would showcase its inner glow. The understatedness is offset by an asymmetrical knife-edge 18K solid white gold ring band, a one-of-a-kind detail which perfectly suited E's unassuming yet edgy personality.
It is rare to arrive at a design so quickly, but this was only our 2nd drawing and we immediately knew it was THE ONE. What's even more fascinating is that the design resembles the proposal ring that E bought his wife years ago.
So yes, this ring doesn't need any fancy name...#2 is complete on its own, devoid of any diamonds, any artifice, unapologetically strong and proud.

Love is a many splendored thing, but marriages are the true test of that love. E was celebrating his 10th wedding anniversary with his wife and he wanted to gift her something extra special to commemorate this precious milestone.
In his mind, he already had a vision of the design for a pendant, so we only had to play a supporting role in this project by suggesting some finishing touches, such as the use of a pink diamond for the centrestone. Coloured diamonds are far rarer, symbolising the uniqueness of his beloved wife. We added a rim of Roman X symbols too to signify this momentous decade of memories.
Although the pendant is seemingly in the shape of a heart, it actually comprises the initials of the lovely couple, E & V. The design speaks of two people holding hands in a vortex of creation, working in unity to forge an unbreakable bond and a family filled with boundless love. And the diamond represents the crystallisation of that beautiful symphony of concerted efforts.
This is yet another defining example of the power of bespoke jewellery, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that exist solely for you and your loved one, embedded with a deeply personal meaning. Phécinixtion
What's remarkable about jewellery is their infinite potential to be transformed into something else. In C's case, she wanted to breathe new life into heirloom jewellery which she inherited but doesn't wear. Thus, we created a lace-inspired design interwoven with a mother's love for her daughter, by incorporating the diamonds from some pendants and recasting a couple of gold bangles bequeathed to her by her mom. And like a Phoenix arisen, Phécinixtion was born.
As it was her 25th wedding anniversary, C picked her favourite gem - a Tanzanite - to commemorate this momentous occasion. We took time to specially source for the stone and found this stunningly intense bluish purple 2.05-carat beauty.
Her husband being French, we were inspired to capture the spirit of a cross-cultural marriage, and researched into the different types of lace crafted in Western and Eastern societies. The final design combines these Occidental-Oriental elements with Roman XXV symbols ingeniously cut into the bypass ring bands of this elegant and timeless statement piece.
We are deeply honoured to have forged something so meaningful...wishing the lovely couple many more golden years ahead!

The beginning of a new year is often a time of introspection when we reflect on the things that we are grateful for and the areas where we seek growth. Showing self-love and care is important to fuel our inner strength in preparation of fresh experiences that lie ahead. It is in this spirit that H wanted to customise a Ruby birthstone ring for herself, while incorporating the birthstones of her family too.
Rubies are one of the most captivating and precious gems...we were elated to find this beautiful violetish red stone for her, what is commonly known in the trade as "pigeon blood" red. Red symbolises blood and passion, both of which flow from the heart - Il Cuore - the inspiration for this ring.
Eschewing the typical aesthetic of a centralised stone, we decided on a slightly asymmetrical design instead and a feel reminiscent more of Italian handcrafted jewellery. The sinuous and organic lines of the ring band are like arteries connecting our heart to our loved ones. This meaningful idea is further reinforced by the incomplete bezel of diamonds, made whole only when the citrine and sapphire birthstones of her family are added to her universe to close the loop.
